Training & Installation Engineer - Contract

**This is a 6 month contract position to install the RDS nationwide to meet a temporary increase in installation schedule for the second half of 2008.  Position will be based out of the Raleigh/Durham area.


- Road Warrior* Travel to and from customer installation and training locations as assigned. Typical travel is Monday thru Friday and weekly hours including travel can be 50-70 hours per week. Occasional weeks may be taken off for breaks, but as a contract position, will be unpaid.
- Performs the on-site installation/de-installation, calibration, testing, maintenance and repair of complex medical equipment and systems in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Manages installation assignments and assigned customers nationwide.
- Provides technical support and problem resolution skills at new and existing client sites.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and maximum uptime by maintaining equipment functionality and troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software related problems on all products.
- Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of all company offered system. Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
- Provide exceptional training to customers or company employees on the operation and maintenance of complex medical equipment and systems.
- Instruct users on integration of all company offered system within pharmacy workflow. Maintain customer satisfaction level after training by conducting courtesy calls.
- Assist with updating customer training materials and manuals.

Requirements:
- Associates degree in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1 -3 years experience in medical or complex business equipment service preferred.
- Two or more years experience in training delivery; mechanical/equipment training experience preferred.
- Two or more years experience with Computer Networking
