A Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound/Carotid Duplex Technologist is responsible for performing transcranial Doppler (TCD)/Carotid Duplex ultrasonography on patients in the Maryland/Virginia area.

Specific job duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Explain and instruct patients as to the nature of the TCD procedure which is being performed;

2. Perform multiple measurement procedures of each TCD study conducted in hospital wards, operating rooms, ICU's, neuroradiology and cardiovascular labs; and,

3. Work with medical professionals in the interpretation of data, maintenance of records as well as orienting others on Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound/Carotid Duplex applications.

The individual assuming this position must be an energetic, pro active, detail oriented self starter who requires minimal direction and is committed to following through and accomplishing tasks.
