Vice President Sales, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals

We are seeking a VP to grow sales and oversee a sales organization focused on selling mobile and interactive advertising to leading advertising agencies and clients direct in the pharmaceutical sector.

Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for driving all revenue generation for the company, both personally and through a sales team.  We are seeking a VP to grow sales and oversee a sales organization focused on selling mobile and interactive advertising to leading advertising agencies and clients direct in the pharmaceutical sector. Candidates must have established relationships and a proven track record of accomplishment in interactive advertising sales. He or she should be well organized, creative and results-driven. A minimum of 10 years of sales experience and 5 years sales management is required. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategy including setting, forecasting and delivering on quarterly sales revenue goals. Hire, train, manage and motivate sales team at all experience levels to deliver top sales performance. Develop sales through interactive advertising agencies and clients direct in the pharmaceutical industry.  Develop sales incentive commission structure. Establish sales processes to maximize sales team efficiency and effectiveness while increasing client satisfaction and company profitability. Oversee development of sales marketing materials and sales support operations. Advise and provide market feedback on product development and marketing. Identify strategic sales growth opportunities for current accounts.

Qualifications:Competitive and strong will to win. Excellent selling and coaching skills and enjoys teaching and strategizing with reps and partners. Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams. Metric driven. Tracks key indicators and pipeline and can bring analytics to drive necessary adjustments.

· Track Record of meeting and exceeding advertising revenue targets.

· Ability to develop deep relationships with ad agencies and clients.10+ years of proven direct/outside sales success, 5+ years of experience in building and leading a national sales team. Deep understanding of media, advertising, and the Internet. Strong base of pharmaceutical advertiser client contacts at the national level. Experience developing six- and seven-figure sales deals. Previous experience in a start-up and fast-growth company environment strongly preferred. Energy, enthusiasm and powerful motivation to take on new challenges. BA/BS degree, MBA preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
