PharmAthene, Inc. is a publicly traded biotechnology company that is composed of a team of scientists and experienced pharmaceutical professionals ideally equipped to develop therapeutics and vaccines against potential biological and chemical threats. 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vaccines Supply Chain Manager.  The successful incumbent will manage the supply chain for the Vaccine’s business to ensure timely delivery of product to multiple destinations, domestically and internationally.  Responsibilities will include design, implementation, validation, and operation of the supply chain, including the cold chain storage and distribution of drug substance and drug product to the CRO’s and blood samples from the CRO’s to the testing house as well as designing and implementing SOP’s for compliance purposes.

 

Requirements include appropriate technical degree and 3 to 5 years of work experience in a production or supply chain role in the cGMP Pharmaceutical industry.  Responsibility includes management of a clinical supply chain for at least 2 other products and extensive experience in understanding the needs of the clinic and of the developmental activities.  Independent judgment and good interpersonal skills required.

 

This role will be based in the United States (Milford, MA). PharmAthene’s main corporate office is located in Annapolis, Maryland.  However, travel is required within the US and EU to distribution sites, clinical sites and testing labs.
