Vice President, Medication Optimization Solutions (Remote) Work Location: Not ApplicableShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Under general direction of the Group Vice President - Business Management, this executive is responsible for sales, executive messaging, and business development of the companies' medication optimization solutions. This executive will provided managerial expertise and strategic vision to launch and sustain the companies' sales plan relative to medication optimization solutions, while working closely with other AmerisourceBergen companies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities 1.Sells medication optimization solutions nationally within the Optimize portfolio to health systems and alternate site facilities. 2.Works with the AmerisourceBergen Drug Company and the AmerisourceBergen Solutions Group to optimize the product portfolio of items and services available to prospective and current ABC clients. 3.Works with the corporate and professional services organization to train on medication optimization solutions and track sales activity. 4.Generates substantial market share growth, brand recognition, and new market segments for companies' medication optimization solutions. 5.Identifies and develops additional medication optimization solutions into current ABC clients. 6.Assists in selling large distribution sales by leveraging medication optimization portfolio solutions 7.Assists with development of new medication optimization portfolio solutions. 8.Interacts with client's administrative, medical staff, departmental representatives and leadership to ensure successful outcome of deliverables. 9.Provides an active leadership role within the organization. 10.Provides leadership and direction in establishing the most strategic solution for each client. 11.Provides management and leadership to bring together area experts as needed to provide more in depth solutions as needed. 12.Provides Group Vice President and strategic business unit executives with updates regarding on-going activities. 13.Provides detailed reports and presentations as needed to communicate our assessment results, recommendations and implementation plans. 14.Capable of C-suite presentations and positioning ABC with executive teams. 15.Performs related duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements This position requires a BS and nursing degree. An advanced degree (MBA, MS) and/or LEAN 6 Sigma experience is preferred. A minimum of 15 years experience in the healthcare field is required with management responsibilities in sales, marketing, business development, and operations. The successful candidate should be an expert in medication process and dispensing.
