Vice President, Parenteral Quality OperationsIn this role you will establish and execute the quality strategy for Hospira's global parenteral operations. You will assure that proper systems and controls are instituted, maintained and related to all facets of process/product design and manufacturing. Additionally, you will assure all operations comply with internal and external regulatory requirements.Other responsibilities: Monitor the regulatory environment, anticipate change and implement cost effective solutions to maintain compliance Develop quality talent to assure needed capabilities are available to meet current business needs and develops bench strength to meet future needsTo be successful in this position, you must possess: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or the Sciences is required; Advanced degree is preferred Minimum of 12 years experience in progressively more responsible positions in the pharmaceutical and/or medical products industry Minimum of 10 years direct experience in quality system management Familiarity with drug/parenteral product manufacturing and government regulations related to the manufacture of these products Experience developing and executing long term strategy in the areas of quality assurance, R&D, engineering and manufacturing is required Demonstrated ability to attract, organize, develop and motivate quality employees and gain the cooperation of other functions as required to meet overall quality standards and objectives Experience in multi-site global manufacturing environments is strongly preferredWe offer an agile, yet balanced work culture and the types of compensation and benefits you'd expect from an industry leader.
