Web Hosting Infrastructure Administrator Job Description Requirements:Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline, with 2-4 years experience.Administer Web Hosting Infrastructure with 1-2 years hands-on experience in: a) Setting up websites using Apache/IIS Webservers.b) Portal technologies such as Weblogic, Websphere or JBOSSc) ANT scripting to deploy Weblogic applications using an automated deployment framework and creating database extract scripts for Oracle database.Familiarity with setting up Internet facing websites in a complex firewall/DMZ environment and using Webtrends to provide website usage statistics will be an advantage.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support existing websites and weblogic applications; includes deploying existing application websites and configuring / supporting them on the J2EE Web Hosting platforms running Weblogic. Configuring websites on IIS and Apache webservers.Create system documentation and technical procedures (WI’s) using documentation management tools such as Documentum and Eroom.System monitoring and application support for all Inet Technology Infrastructure systems. Support internal business customers in a customer facing environment. Partner with IT and/or external partners to support Web Infrastructure based solutions.On-Call rotation within the team to provide technical support for customer applications. Corporate Site
