Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. provides in vitro diagnostic products to hospital, commercial and clinical laboratories, and blood donor centers. Its products include reagents and instrument systems used in blood typing and donor testing; clinical chemistry determinations and immunoassays for disease diagnosis and therapy management; as well as RhoGAM, an injectable drug used to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn. Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics is seeking a Worldwide IT Director that will drive a successful program implementation of SAP (Production & Inventory Mgt), currently known as #8216;Crossroads', to achieve manufacturing goals, address aging technology platforms and align OCD's technical architecture with the Sector and Corporate ERP Strategy. The Worldwide IT Director- SAP, Crossroads will be the go-to person accountable for successful implementation of the Crossroads SAP Core Model & Program across all OCD and Therakos locations from an IT perspective. Working with the Worldwide OCD Business Director (overall program lead), the candidate will provide technical, strategic and operational management of the worldwide OCD IT program team and serve as an integral and participating member of the Crossroads PMO. While working with the PMO and DePuy leadership, this position will establish and harmonize OCD's business & process requirements into the overall program design. In addition, the position will develop and deploy integrations of appropriate legacy systems to Crossroads and ultimately retire systems that will be replaced by Crossroads. The Worldwide IT Director- SAP, Crossroads will work with Business Director to ensure roles are filled by skilled resources and will ensure application design/integration/development, documentation, testing, integration and validation is completed in a CMM Level 4 manner. This role requires a leader who has experience and expertise with leading IT teams to peak levels of performance, acting as a positive and influential change agent. This leader will oversee the day-to-day activities of the team members and will drive effective governance to ensure appropriate resources, scope is focused, as appropriate & minimizes/mitigates program risks. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. An MBA degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience is required. A minimum of 5 years of people management experience is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a critical IT leadership role is required. Recent hands- on experience in delivering manufacturing SAP solutions across an enterprise environment is required. Knowledge of the manufacturing business process and demonstrated experience interacting with and influencing senior management is required. Experience with SAP is required. SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP PP (Production Planning) are required. Experience with SAP FICO, SAP QM (Quality Management) and SAP Warehouse Management is preferred. Experience with anticipating and capturing evolving customer needs, balanced with strategy/goals of the organization while ensuring on time, on budget, compliant deliverables are achieved is required. Testing, Computer System Validation and compliance experience is required. The demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple successful large-scale IT projects is required. Deep process, application and IT knowledge are required. This leader must ensure alignment of the Corporate, Sector and OCD Architectural direction and application strategies are met. The ability to work with cross-functional and corporate teams is required. PMI Certification is preferred. Approximately 30 % of domestic and international travel is required for this position.
