AR/BILLING CLERK

Job description: Position: AR/Billing Clerk Availability: Immediate Qualifications: CBS Radio – LA has an immediate opening for an AR/Billing Clerk. A 2-year degree and 2 years accounts receivable experience is desired but not required. Media experience is desired. Knowledge in Excel is a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Posting of cash receipts and credit card payments. • Producing weekly invoices. • Making collection calls on clients/agencies that are delinquent. • Meeting with Account Executives to discuss accounts “one on one”. • Working closely with Accountant at month end to reconcile cash, AR and provide any   reports needed for close. • Preparing monthly commission charge backs for Account Executives. • Reviewing and approving daily sales orders. • Reviewing cash in advance and pending sales orders on a weekly basis. • Preparing AR and Bad Debt adjustments. • Researching discrepancies on accounts. • Assisting customers with any requests. • Preparing monthly ARC reports. • Providing account history on clients requested by other stations. • Special assignments, corporate projects and any other projects which are assigned by   Station Controller. • Work closely with customers and various departments within the CBS Radio family.
