Account Executive, Digital Media Sales KNTV-TV

CITY: San Francisco STATE: CaliforniaCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):* Generate revenue for KNTV-TV (NBC) from light and non-television advertising prospects in the Bay Area market using the full offering of station multi-platform opportunities (broadcast, nbc11.com, expos, digital channels, out of home opportunities). * Prospect new business from non traditional and competitive media sources such as newspaper, cable, direct mail, radio and Internet. * Utilize all advertising platforms as marketing and advertising solutions for Bay Area businesses. * Work closely with other NBC/Telemundo Owned and Operated Stations, particularly with the California regional broadcast properties in Los Angeles and San Diego.~HJ~~CB~Qualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:* Minimum of one year of sales/business development experience.* Must have good technical skills and ability to effectively use them (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Eligibility Requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/EMS online in order to be considered.* Must be willing to work at the location in San Jose/ San Francisco.* Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background investigation.* Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.* Must own a vehicle and have unrestricted driving privileges.* Must be available evenings and weekends to attend business and networking events.Desired:* Need to be able to substantiate proven track record of developing creative solutions for customers' marketing objectives and garnering revenue from non-traditional sources. * Strong multi-platform knowledge and selling skills. * Broadcast background helpful. * New Media (Internet and Digital) experience preferred. Must be able to create and present compelling sales presentations* Business specific experience (i.e. Automotive, Retail, Real Estate, Financial) a very big plus. * Must have a creative, inquisitive mind coupled with a broad understanding of general business issues.General:NBC Universal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
