CITY: Miramar STATE: FloridaCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):NBC 6 in Miami - Ft. Lauderdale has a great new opportunity to join our local sales staff. This position is responsible for achieving core and new business quarterly budgets, Internet and Digital Out of Home goals on NBC6.net. Integration of WTVJ opportunities with Telemundo when appropriate. Responsibilities include maintaining and growing existing local agency business, and bringing non-traditional advertising campaigns to new and existing clients. Must be able to position and reinforce value of NBC6 products through use of research tools. Premium placed on ability to develop NEW BUSINESS. Other responsibilities include bringing changes and trends in local market conditions to the attention of the sales team and management, assuring that the flow and maintenance of pertinent information with respect to advertising copy, local sales orders, contracts, are properly directed, and assisting in collection of accounts receivables.Qualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:* Minimum of five years experience in Television Sales.Eligibility Requirements:*Must submit a resume/CV online to Job#: 812373 . *Work overtime and on weekends with short notice*Must be willing to work at the station in Miramar location*Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation*Must be 18 years or older*Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States*No relocation benefits available.Desired:*Excellent communication and marketing skills, initiative, detail orientation, record-keeping, prioritization, time management and analytical skills required. *Proficiency in using a number of computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet). *Ability to act in an honest and candid way, with integrity, and maintain confidentiality of privileged information. *Goal orientation; ability to see the big picture and long-term objectives.
