We're looking for a 'needle in a haystack' the former assistant in the position moved up...but had set a record of successful accomplishments which enabled the move. If you're hard working, interested in working in a company where there's an air of creativity abounding..this position maybe for you. If there is an interest in HR all the better... if not - then there should be an interest is in e.g. the arts, theatre, music, film, etc. to share a commonality with others . The ideal candidate would have solid work experience (administrative) however, other skills/experiences and interests weigh just as heavily.....the art of be engaging, tenacious.. In addition one should be well-read/educated/& cultured.
Ideally someone with high standards for their own work performance.
The position reports to the Sr Dir, HR-providing general administrative support. Serve as 1st point of contact for HR phone inquiries.Scheduling assistance, attendance tracking for admin staff, timesheets input into HR system ( new hires, terminations/changes ) . Provide benefits support by enrolling & terminating coverage in medical, dental & life insurance plans. Assist employees in resolving insurance related issues.Assist with the recruitment process including, advertising positions with external sources, reviewing resumes, contacting candidates & follow-up correspondence. Provide support special projects as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Office experience 1-2++yrs (HR a plus &/or interest in the arts/music, etc.) Diplomacy & able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management. Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be respectful of confidentiality.Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.MsOffice required- excel, word, database- must be comfortable learning new applications and a quick study.
The environment is fantastic as is the staff - co offers a total comprehensive benefits package e.g. 3 wks vacation. Yes, the place is sooo great the compensation is/can be- 30-38K +OT is paid
If you're not interested in a long range career in HR....and willing to make a commitment -to work hard..and prove yourself.. that's OK...position open due to the former assistant moving into another area of the company.
