Analyst, Oracle Applications

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Oracle Applications System Administration:

Manage security aspects of Oracle Applications including user administration, responsibilities, menus, request groups, profile options, etc.

 

Utilize Oracle Applications Manager to Administer, Monitor and Maintain Oracle Applications including Workflow and Concurrent Processing.

 

Utilize Oracle Diagnostic Tools and Oracle’s support site “Metalink” to assist with support of the following applications: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, iProcurement and in the future iExpenses, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.

 

Assist with research and testing of client and server patches when applicable.

 

Maintain procedures for Systems Administration functions.

 

Business Intelligence (Discoverer 10g): Back up Business Intelligence Administrator as needed. 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred

* Minimum 2 years experience with Oracle Applications including System Administration, Workflow, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing and iProcurement.

* Experience with Oracle’s Metalink support site

* Experience with Oracle Diagnostic Tools

* Experience with Discoverer 10g preferred

* Knowledge of SQL

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Highest level of confidentiality

* Able to establish constructive and informative relationships with employees, management and vendors

* Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical manuals

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
