Assistant, Theatrical Marketing

Lionsgate is the premier independent producer and distributor of motion pictures, home entertainment, family entertainment, television programming and video-on-demand content.

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an Assistant in our Theatrical Marketing department. This position will provide administrative support to the SVP, Research and Media including answering phones, handling travel arrangements, processing invoices, purchase orders and expense reports, setting up screenings, and scheduling conference calls and meetings. Additional responsibilities will include: working with excel spreadsheets tracking media/research data, maintaining research and media library, maintaining guest lists for research screenings, writing summaries of articles which relate to media and research aspects of the entertainment business, online research projects, and coordinating internal and external distribution of media plans and research documents.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is extremely detail oriented, good with numbers, and passionate about media planning and research. Must have the ability to multi-task, meet constantly changing deadlines, have excellent computer and interpersonal skills, and be available to work some evenings and week-ends. Some prior experience in marketing is preferred. College degree is required. (Knowledge and familiarity with the film and television industries is a plus as potential for growth within the company for this position is high).
