Associate Account Marketing Manager

Gadzoo.com, a nationwide network of websites devoted to pets and the people who love them, has an immediate need for an energetic, creative and enterprising Associate Account Marketing Manager for our Evanston, IL location.

The Affiliate Marketing Manager will seek to increase acceptance and usage of Gadzoo.com among our rapidly expanding base of online newspaper affiliates.  Gadzoo.com partners with newspapers around the country to create co-branded websites that highlight the special connection between people and their pets.

If you have…·  Proven success marketing a product in a B-to-B context

·  Minimum 3 years experience in a marketing role at a media company

·  Strong knowledge of current online tools, technologies and trends

·  Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

·  Special passion for pets

·  Ability to handle details in a timely and accurate manner

·  Demonstrated success managing customer relationships

…then you can help drive the success of Gadzoo.com, especially during the next 12-to-18 months. You’ll be a key person working with our newspaper affiliates so they can capitalize on the significant interest in pets in communities across the country.

Functional Responsibilities

·  Help affiliates establish Gadzoo as a pets/lifestyle vertical

·  Work with affiliates to understand/exploit advertising opportunities

·  Develop best practices and traffic-building stories for affiliates

·  Monitor how sites are performing in terms of traffic

·  Monitor and address issues with specific sites on a regular basis

·  Help implement local features on sites

·  Oversee creation and distribution of welcome kit for new affiliates

·  Prepare regular communication with affiliates about new features, etc.

·  Report and analyze daily, weekly and monthly metrics
