Audio Video Installation Operations Manager

Company Information: AVDB Group - Commercial Design-Build Audio Video and Control Systems IntegratorsDuties:The Operations Manager is in charge of AVDB’s Nevada installation/operations group. The primary responsibilities include managing the day-to-day activities of the operational arm of Nevada installation/operations group, cooperation with managers in the sales and engineering groups, management of Nevada operational personnel activities and actively contribute to the administration of the AVDB’s strategic plan and company policies. The Nevada Operations Manager reports directly to the Nevada Office General Manager. This is a technical management position. Manage and coordinate the successful completion of all AVDB’s Nevada Audio Video and Control System installations. Assist with operational issues as they pertain to California, Arizona offices and other nationwide projects. Directs and or coordinates the activities of others associated with jobs including project managers, team foremen and installation technicians. 
Specific Duties:Negotiates and sets expectations with operations personnel. Drives the resolution of issues within the team. Contributes technical knowledge and hands-on skills when required. Manage all warrantee and service related issues. Direct and/or coordinate daily warehouse activities. Implement AVDB’s strategic plan and all company policies. Perform all personnel management activities for operations group employees in Nevada. Develop and administer departmental standards, training and certification programs. Coordinate high-level schedules with peer-level managers. Implement a program for continual departmental improvement with peer-level managers. Independently anticipates problems. Must be a credible representative of the Company. Manage communications to appropriate levels. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Skills/Qualifications:Advance Commercial Audio Video and Control System Knowledge Construction and Rigging Experience  Creativity Audiovisual Product Knowledge Productivity, Teamwork Technical Understanding of complex systems People Management, Staffing, Developing Budgets, General Consulting Skills, Vendor Relationships Live Sound, Video or Theatrical Lighting Touring Experience, Electrical and Electronics.AVDB Group is an equal opportunity employer.
