Bilingual Financial Administrator

Job Purpose:

The Bilingual Financial Administrator is responsible for the financial packaging of current and prospective students at our Denver, Colorado campus.

Duties: 

· Provide students and their parents information regarding the application process and their eligibility for Federal financial assistance, alternative financing, and/or institutional payment plans

· Review financial applications and disclosure statements for completeness and accuracy and process all forms in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

· Assign the appropriate budget to students and generate award letter

· Gain the respect of diverse individual groups by demonstrating the ability of the school to respond to the concerns and interests of its minority communities

· Inspire and motivate prospective students in order to exceed monthly enrollment objectives

· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and participating in professional organizations

Skills/Qualifications:

· 4 year college degree preferred

· Previous experience and technical knowledge of Title IV federal student financial aid and Ed Express preferred but not necessary

· Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Telephone appointment setting, interviewing, and follow-up skills

· Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills

· Outgoing, goal-driven, and motivated

· Minimum three years solid career experience.  Successful candidates come from numerous backgrounds including accounting, banking and finance.
