Billing & Collections Coordinator

Warner Channel seeks a Billing & Collections Coordinator for the Warner Channel department. Position is responsible for invoicing: process, print and follow up that all sales representatives (customers/agencies) invoices and statements are generated and distributed accordingly. Month-end reports, complete month- end close reports, treasury applications, agency commissions, commission accruals, ad sales billings including, barter and withholding tax calculations, cash receipts summary, aging, bad debt, withholding taxes, special projects. Collections: New customer evaluation, processes all cash receipts, reviews billing templates, maintains records management. Ad hoc requests from third parties (e.g. auditors and management and other departments). Interaction with traffic system.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. 2 years of Credit & Collections activity/ Accounts receivable. Prior experience in an entertainment company/ industry preferable. Experience working in a Latin American company /environment helpful. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required (Expert level performance preferable). Must understand basic accounting principles and currency devaluations. Excellent customer service skills preferable. Knowledge of sales and procurement helpful. Ability to understand contracts desired. Experience with finance reporting software helpful. Experience with PeopleSoft and BMS-Enterprise legacy systems helpful. Analytical skills required. Ability to multi-task in an intensive high momentum work environment required. Bilingual (Spanish/ English) oral and written abilities required.
