Business Analyst opportunity with leading media/broadcast company!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst. Our client is one of the leading media and broadcast companies in the world. They have an exciting new project, and are in need of a top-tier Business Analyst.

 

Responsibilities: Work as part of a team to gather detailed business and systems requirements in support of the Content Supply Chain Re-Engineering initiative.  Gather data, process, functional, and user interface requirements and develop documentation using standards set forth by the Project Manager. Work directly with internal clients to plan and facilitate requirements gathering and review sessions, JAD sessions (as necessary), and develop executive summaries of requirements for management.  Lead and participate in efforts to evaluate potential technology solutions with internal development groups and external software vendors. Communicate directly with business partners to gather feedback and select the appropriate solution that best meets the goals of the project – functionality, cost, and schedule.  Direct the user design phase and develop user interface mock-ups as necessary. Work closely with systems architects, designers, and developers to support the technical design and development phases of the SDLC. Support the development of functional and performance test cases and scripts based on the agreed upon requirements.  Support system and user acceptance testing phase by working directly with testers and end users to analyze reported bugs and enhancement requests.  Log issue and coordinate with developers and project managers to resolve any issues identified. 

 

Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience. Minimum of 3 years utilizing structured methodology for requirements gathering and analysis – process modeling, use case design, interaction diagramming, functional requirements gathering, user interface mock-upsMinimum of 5 years in Media & Entertainment industry focusing on content planning, scheduling, or rights management systemsBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field or direct equivalent.Working knowledge of ITIL service management framework preferredCandidate should possess strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.Positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, self-motivated, team playerExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills  Legal right to work in the United States.
