Crestron / AMX Programmer

Skills Required: Crestron Programmer, AMX Programming, Teleconferencing, Installation, Troubleshooting, Polycom and Tandburg operation, Crestron Certified, CTS Certification Job Description: Crestron Programmer Long Island / New York City ( NY ) Salary Based on Programming Knowledge and Experience Do you have at least three years of Crestron / AMX programming experience? Would you enjoy working in the field on commercial and residential projects? If so…………….please read on ! What you will be doing :• Program control systems for commercial applications (boardrooms, classrooms, training rooms, auditoriums, etc.) as well as residential applications (home theaters, distributed audio, lighting and HVAC controls, etc.) using Crestron and AMX control systems. • Utilize existing standards and templates as well as work on improving them or building new ones. • Test, troubleshoot, and debug programs/av systems. • Travel to job sites (or other offices) and/or remotely support technicians for system punch out. What you need for the job : • 3+ years experience in programming advanced control (residential or commercial) systems in Crestron. S+ programming a plus. • Ability to read/interpret ACAD drawings and excellent AV knowledge/troubleshooting skills are a must. • Must have deep knowledge of working with as many of the following as possible: Extron, FSR, Polycom (audio and video), Tandberg, Clear One, Biamp, Lutron, Audio Request, Plasmas and Projectors, Crestron/AMX AV gear, and others. • Deep knowledge of audio distribution, video distribution and switching.
