A Sencore DTV Account Manager will be responsible for direct sales results for a specific set of accounts.  This will include account management, technical and product knowledge, maintaining effective sales skills, working large accounts/national accounts, traveling to trade shows and to customer sites as needed to achieve sales objectives. Travel averages about 40%. 

This person must be well organized, personable, driven to succeed and meet goals, and technically savvy.  Most accounts in this division are large accounts (LAMP) and subsequently have longer cycle times for purchases.  House accounts will be assigned to our newest team member for development, but prospecting and cold-calling are major components of a successful DTV Account Manager.  This is a draw commission position.

 

A BSEE, BSEET, or extensive experience in the marketplace is required

 

Chemistry:

 

We are seeking an individual with personal integrity, effective people skills, a clear vision & a goal oriented personality. The ideal candidate must show a previous pattern of success, display self-discipline and sense of urgency. As well, they must demonstrate a pattern of self-improvement.

 

Experience:

 

2-5 years account management with technical products, preferably with Broadcast equipment.

Professional sales training.  Large account exposure is a plus.

Exposure to our markets (broadcast, Telco, digital signage).

Exposure to MPEG or other forms of digital video is a plus.
