Director, Production and Development - Bravo

CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):DEVELOPMENT:Work with VP of Development to identify new show concepts and talent that are appropriate for and extend the BRAVO brandDevelop multiplatform contentField pitches and serve as a liaison to the agent and production communityResearch and develop new internal ideasBrainstorm/create new conceptsTrack talent and conceptsSupervise the production of pilots and casting reelsServe as a resource for competitive informationIdentify show concepts and talent that are appropriate for the digital tiers of the BRAVO brandGenerate show concepts that are appropriate for BRAVO television and the digital tiersPRODUCTION:Serve as brand manager and executive producer on assigned shows acting as a liaison to the marketing, publicity, ad sales, digital, international and ancillary areasProvide notes on production concepts, casting, outlines and roughcuts and coordinate new series launchesWork closely with external show runners and production companies Manage talent on assigned showsLiaise with sales team and production company to provide integration ideas and supervise integration execution on setSupervise and conceptualize the production elements of the digital materials that emanate from assigned shows- ie webisodes/extra scenes/blogs etc.Problem solve show issues with producers and VP ProductionAttend shoots, and work with the VP of production to solve budget issuesQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications: Bachelors' degree. Minimum five years experience in television and have experience in both production and development Minimum five years experience in either generating and taking pitches for a production company or taking pitches for a network or cable network Minimum five years of production experience on docu-series and/or competitive reality showsEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 815295).
