Director, Retirement Plans

Position Description:

DIRECTOR, RETIREMENT PLANSFox Entertainment Group is seeking a Director, Retirement Plans to manage pension plans, including the supervision and review of benefit calculations.Primary responsibilities include:• Review calculations for the two Fox pension plans• Respond to employee inquiries pension plan issues• Maintain and update pension system• Supervise the two pension plan administrators• Oversee the day-to-day administration of the pension plans• Provide pension calculations as requested by legal, HR, etc. for special circumstances• Review and authorize trustee payments from the pension plans• Maintain records and oversee administrative-related issues for disabled pension plan participants• Periodic review of administrative practices for compliance with plan provisions• Work closely with VP, Benefits Compliance on regulatory issues• Assistance with annual reporting - 5500's, PBGC filings, SAR's, etc.• Monitor suspension notices such as over age 65, 204(h), etc.• Coordinate locating missing retirees• Coordinate with actuary for development of pension-related calculations for benefit statements• Attend employee benefit meetings where pensions are an issue• Coordinate actuarial data requests• Coordinate the annual actuarial valuations, including data edits, for the pensions• Coordinate all pension-related audit requestsAn in-depth understanding of pension administration, ERISA, DOL requirements, etc. is critical. Additional experience in PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, BASIS OnPoint, and related systems preferred.
