Director, Technology & Infrastructure

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Technology & Infrastructure for the Corporate Projects department. Position will rationalize the technical infrastructure environment required to provide seamless services. Document existing capabilities. Devise new infrastructure solutions. Oversee the establishment of the technical environment required to facilitate service delivery. Asset management oversight: facilitate the rapid deployment of a ‘best practices’ Asset Management program. Create a new methodology to gather all of the requirements necessary for deploying a full life cycle Asset Management program into the WBEI environment. This includes: collecting and inventorying assets, Software Licenses, Contracts, etc. This also entails defining appropriate measures to institutionalize the process within the related towers. This role defines the mechanisms by which each of the process teams will proceed in a parallel path, capturing unique information that is pertinent to each silo and has been staffed with dedicated subject matter expert (SME) resources. The key activities by functional teams are: Execute physical inventory for IT hardware assets. Compare asset information from the current WBEI asset repository against the data collected from the current state WBEI auto-discovery technologies. Software License Collection. Contracts & Vendor Management Collection: Capture and consolidate all IT-related contracts including Approved Vendors List, Master Lease Contracts, Lease Contracts, Maintenance Contracts, T&M Contracts, and relevant services contracts. Process Integration & Refinement Collection: develop procedures for asset management integration; transfer knowledge to WBEI ownership group. Direct the planning and implementation of required new technologies – business tools (imaging, scanning), quality management tools, etc., from design through to implementation. Develop plans for and oversee the allocation of new desktop environment standards, and physical / logical access standards and protocols. Oversee and approve the allocation of required access. Work with the process teams, territory and home office resources to validate and refine technical / business scenarios testing. Help to oversee testing and evaluate cut-over readiness.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience required. Previous experience in functional / process areas. Oversight over development and implementation of tools and other means to review performance metrics.
Experience with systems development, implementation and training. Must have strong customer service skills with attention to detail. Must have strong analytical skills that are technically oriented. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone. Must have effective writing skills. PC Skills: Medium to advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required – advanced skills strongly preferred. Knowledge of basic math, spelling grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary usage; as well as knowledge of report, letter, etc format Fluency in business and technical English.
Must have excellent time management skills to perform in a fast-paced, high pressure, high volume environment. Available to support special extended hours to support critical periods. Must be able to reason through issues and resolve problems and work well under time constraints. Must be a team player and be flexible. Must be a motivated, confident self-starter.
