Director, Wireless Product Development
CITY: Englewood Cliffs STATE: CaliforniaCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):The Wireless Business/Product Development Director will own wireless across multipleoperating divisions within NBC Universal, key platforms (eg. mobile video, web, interactivity,gaming, etc.) and key distribution channels. He/She will be accountable for directing NBCU's product development and initiatives to grow the reach and usage of each division's mobile audience. Theproduct leads will work closely with Editorial/Operating Divisions, Programming, Marketing, Ad Sales,Technology and Research to identify and specify new product opportunities.Own wireless product and business efforts across Op Units, ensuring best possible content and experience that meet end user, distribution and advertiser requirementsDevelop product and business plans to grow platforms and audience across mobile video, web, gaming, messaging, etc and execute on agreed upon plan to meet product and launch timelines/requirementsManage distribution channels (eg Verizon, Yahoo, MSN, AT&Tetc) and work withMarketing to drive revenues and audience generationNegotiate and manage internal and external partner and technology relationships to launch/expand NBCU's mobile product lineManage performance across multiple wireless categories, including WAP, SMS, MMS,WAP, Gaming, iTV and Video. Use performance metrics as guide to optimize existingproduct lines, and to expand into new product categories.Work with the NBCU technology teams and external vendors to ensure that allrequirements can be fulfilled within allotted timetables and budgets.Qualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of wireless experienceBachelor's DegreeEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 815082).
