Electrical Designer CAD

Electrical Designer CADCBS Engineering Department Generate engineering ACAD drawings and other documentation for broadcast installations.  Create and draft from a block diagram all other necessary drawings: jackfields, rack layouts, mechanical details, etc.  Able to update floor plans for studios, control rooms and other technical areas/facilities.  When project requires, provide mechanical design of various panels.  Ensure that all assignments follow established procedures.  Assure that all generated drawings adhere to Engineering Department Standards.  Maintain a database of engineering documentation and update regularly for accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS HS diploma required plus formal, computer based drafting and design training at a Design/Drafting school. Up to three (3) years of electrical drafting and design work experience. Advanced knowledge and mastery of AutoCAD 2008 or later. Knowledge of electrical design with some experience. Excellent computer skills (MS Office, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop).
