Electronic Content Distribution Manager

Introduction:

 

Dubbing Facility is looking for a working, hands-on Electronic Content Distribution Manager with strong work ethics to take over Operations responsibility for a new, closed and secure, electronic distribution network.  We are the entertainment industry’s leading provider of Rapid Duplication Services.  We are launching a proprietary, Secure Online Private Viewing Service for Sensitive Content.  All work performed in our Burbank facility is monitored by closed circuit television in the strictest anti-piracy environment.

 

This new Full-Time position is located in Burbank, CA.  Hours are generally M-F, 10 AM to 7 PM, with expected fluctuations that coincide with departmental workloads (Position is Salary).  Ideal candidates should have experience in electronic media, customer retention management, and customer service.  Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing new requests for services, creating work orders, managing work flow between various departments, verifying work is processed as requested, performing quality assurance, creating authorized users lists, verifying each user’s access is functional, troubleshooting quality issues, confirming with client and Sales department that work is completed, communicating and following-up with clients, and closing the work flow channels by updating customer retention management software and submitting proper billing documents to accounting. 

 

Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary.

Services include replication of videotape, DVD, and digital media formats with the ability to include forensic watermarking that helps discourage piracy. With the introduction of our new service, the company will offer transcoding of all media formats and provide secure, private viewings that dramatically reduce the time it takes to get feedback on sensitive, private media content.  Our facilities are operated under the strictest anti-piracy policies and procedures.  Closed-circuit video surveillance and MPAA awareness are normal operations protocol.  The prevention of piracy is the responsibility of all employees.

Core Responsibilities: Ensure that all incoming orders are processed according to the specifications determined by Sales and Management  leads Test and QA products and verify work is performed properly Troubleshoot technical issues both internally and with third party vendors Manage help and support issues from internal management and external clients Reconcile work flow status in Outlook Business Contact Manager, FileMaker Pro, and other work flow support software.  Generate automated reports and keep management up-to-date on all pending projects, projected bottlenecks, and resource availability.

The Electronic Content Distribution Manager is a hands-on position with responsibility for being the primary contributor, operations expert, and manager of an efficient and profitable service department.  Candidates must be willing to do all tasks required to yield a successful operation. Must be able to work under strict security procedures in an environment controlled by video surveillance and electronic pass keys. Must have awareness of how electronic content is distributed via secure data networks. Must be proficient on Mac and PC computers with extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Must have an understanding of how HTML, Web Browsers, QuickTime, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and other media players perform on both Mac and PC environments. Must be able to work independently with a high-level of proficiency under direct and indirect senior management. Must have problem solving skills and analytical thinking abilities to diagnose problems, recommend solutions, prepare automated reports, analyze and interpret data that leads to greater efficiency and increased profits. Must be able to provide professional customer service to the sales team, account management team, clients, and management.  Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in business climate, opportunities, and rapid turn-around schedules. Must be willing to work hard and multitask in a very fast paced, sales driven, dynamic and demanding environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
