Position Description:
Position Summary:The EA will be the key gatekeeper for the EVP-Chief Accounting Officer and SVP-Corporate Financial Operations with both internal and external constituents. The EA will provide high-level executive administrative support, including sensitive communications, and will act as liaison to both top executives within and outside of the company. The incumbent will also provide support to the department. Responsibilities:1. Schedule appointments, maintain and update daily calendars.2. Answer telephones, screen calls, route callers, take messages, respond to internal and external inquiries, and provide routine information within scope of authority.3. Schedule, organize and coordinate meetings and facilities including travel arrangements, preparation and distribution of materials, agendas, notes, handouts, etc. Prepare and format presentations, tables and spreadsheets.4. Compose documents and correspondence as appropriate. 5. Monitor monthly expenses and refer discrepancies for resolution.6. Open, review, route, and distribute interoffice and external mail to department staff.7. Establish and maintain records and files for executives. Review, sort and file a variety of materials.8. Coordinate departmental supplies, ensure maintenance of equipment, and initiate order for supplies and materials as needed.9. Assist with special projects and provide general office support such as copying and faxing.10. Function as administrative liaison to departmental staff and consultants.11. Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in related field of study* At least 5 years of significant executive assistant experience and successful track record. * Candidate must be articulate, detail-oriented, and have strong written, verbal, and organizational skills with ability to communicate with executive level management – both inside and external to the company. * Candidate must also demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. * Must have ability to assess priorities, be extremely proactive, and able to bring issues to closure independently. * Exceptional phone etiquette, call-screening/routing, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lotus Notes, Calendar are a must. * Working knowledge of DCL internal policies and procedures a plus.* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
