CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):USANETWORK.COM is seeking a Flash Designer to design websites and produce clean, on-brand work while managing multiple projects with tight deadlines that connect fans to Monk, Psych, WWE Raw and many more. Report into Senior Designer, usanetwork.com and work closely with other Senior Designers and Senior Site Producers to meet established site launches, deadlines and goalsFocus on front-end developmentWork closely with creative and production teams to both implement and suggest/experiment with new and interesting ways to use CSS, Flash and JavaScript to push the creative boundaries of our work, while enforcing and maintaining strict HTML and CSS coding standardsContribute to daily effort of publishing new content including development and management of video and content rich show sitesBuild out web pages to exactly match design compsProduce creative online concepts for show sites and web-exclusive contentAdhere to usability and user interface standards Manage content from a variety of sources (producers, designers, copy editors) Quality assures and maintains all aspects of assigned websitesOther duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher Have knowledge of design; including video, animation, html, typography and image optimization. Minimum 3 years of online production experience with Flash, PHP, XHTML, HTML, XML, DHTML, CSS, SSI and JavaScript Minimum 3 years experience of hand-coding HTML, PHP and CSS for cross-browser, cross-platform display (also experience in cross-browser scripting issues) Minimum 3 years experience with Adobe CS3 Suite Final Cut Pro and digital video streaming, transcoding, and conversionMinimum 1 year experience in After Effects Minimum 1 year experience in video/film production (camera, lighting, sound, etc.) and post-production (editing, compositing, motion graphics, etc.) and web video Working knowledge of Action ScriptEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 807599).
