Job Purpose:The Junior Account Executive is responsible for developing and negotiating new and current online advertising campaigns. There is a strong emphasis on building relationships and growing accounts through sales skills. Job Responsibilities:Prospect and contact online media agencies and negotiate campaignsEvaluate and identify prospective iVillage clients and new partnership opportunities Build, grow and manage iVillage revenue through strategic agency relationships via in-person sales calls and presentations. In addition to selling seasonal and pre-packaged opportunities the sales person is responsible for developing custom sponsorship opportunities to suit their clients' needs in order to generate significant revenue growth and deal volume for their territoryRepresent iVillage at industry conferences and eventsManage his/her own and existing small NY- campaigns for upsell and renewal. This includes pre sale proposal development and post sale account management and account optimization, as well as; assembling presentations, research, and general contact management.
