Junior Accounting Associate

Broadcasting Production Company in Rye Brook is seeking an experienced and reliable individual.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

General A/P duties - vendor bill process, check process, related analysis

General A/R duties - cash applications, collections, customer relations

General payroll duties - timesheets, ADP payroll processing

General Ledger duties - standard journal entries, accrual entries, month-end and annual closing

Month-end reconciliations and preparing related schedules and analysis

Preparation of daily cash, revenue and expense reports

Provide support to Controller and CFO

Provide relief coverage for reception



Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of established bookkeeping and accounting procedures

Excellent organizational skills

Knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Office Suite; moderate to advanced level computer experience

Solid interpersonal skills

Detail oriented, quick learner and a team player

Able to work independently
