The result of more than ten years of groundbreaking research and revolutionary problem solving in holographic storage technology has culminated in the InPhase tapestry™ media and drive, which we will bring to market in 2008. In preparation, we are seeking an experienced Channel Partner Sales Manager to help us develop and manage our network of Resellers and assist them with end user customer engagements.
InPhase Technologies is a company that leads, not follows. We are trailblazers, pioneers, and therefore hire highly talented, success driven people that will help take our groundbreaking holographic storage product and make it a standard in the industry.
As a Channel Partner Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining sales of holographic drives and media through our multi-leveled sales channel – from distributor through reseller to end-user. This will be accomplished by thoroughly understanding industry market drivers in the data archive space, being able to navigate and establish professional relationships at the CXO level, and creating compelling solution positioning alongside reseller partners.
Being recognized as an expert in Archiving, you will apply your knowledge to solve business issues in simple to complex customer environments. Utilizing your strong base of resellers, you will produce account plans and implement sales strategies that will maximize profit and exceed quota expectations.
Your success as a Channel Partner Sales Manager will also be driven by the ability to manage your pipeline and to search out high quality resellers, appropriate end-users and large deals. You will cultivate existing accounts, effectively navigate the landscape to capitalize on opportunities or extinguish challenges, and perform Quarterly Business Reviews.
Representing InPhase Technologies in a professional manner will also be important as you participate in trade shows, events and demonstrations.

Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of data storage markets, archiving, and industry product offerings
Ability to interface with all levels in customer organization and to sell at the CXO level.
Strong relationship building skills and entrepreneurial drive a must.
Strong communication, presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Account specific sales and business planning; long term sales funnel development
Proven ability to work with external partners to deliver solution sales
Effectively manage and enforce contractual obligations with channel partners
Leadership role coordinating other sales professionals
Fluent in English
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Must have excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Must be comfortable and skilled calling on new prospects.
Self-starter that can work independently with minimal direction
Knowledge of broadcast video storage industry is a plus
Desired Experience:
5-10 years experience in Channel sales
Demonstrated success selling to Fortune 100 companies
Bachelors degree. Business or Marketing a plus
Selling to IBM, HP, EMC or SUN VARs is mandatory; selling to EMC a plus
Proven track record of over quota achievement
Experience with ISVs (Independent Software Vendor) is a plus
Education: Bachelors Degree
Terms of Employment: Full-time employee
Travel: 30 – 40%
