Manager, Digital Media Systems

Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc. seeks a Manager, Digital Media Systems for the Domestic Licensing department. Position acts as the MIS, AS, TS and MAM team liaison on all technical issues related to creative production and marketing material needs for WBCP. Has a complete understanding of the role and needs of the various WBCP departments in order to identify and drive new technology initiatives. Recommends, purchases and oversees installation of all hardware and software for Creative and Image Marketing. Maintains and troubleshoots all departmental equipment (individual Mac and PC workstations, printers, scanners, servers, and network hardware).Manages the digitizing, archiving and cataloging of all WBCP art libraries, as appropriate. Oversees all technical and administrative aspects of DAFE, in terms of asset ingestion, day-to-day troubleshooting, assisting licensees with problems, etc. Manages global digital asset movement, workflow, and security while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to end users.Grants access to DAFE to all licensees through our Licensing Management System. Responsible for keeping management informed of the latest technological trends and innovations. Assists the Director in preparing rationales for new equipment expenditures which includes functionality overviews and ROI analyses. Manages and directs the Worldwide Fulfillment and Distribution Coordinator Administrators and functions. Via the Worldwide Fulfillment Administrator, mManages the relationship with the fulfillment vendor—monitoring the performance, accuracy and quality of this service. Assists the Director in negotiating the fulfillment vendors contract or consolidating fulfillment with other WB Divisions.

Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience required. College degree in computer science or computer engineering preferred. Minimum 5 years MAC/PC Computers / Network administration / Website development and maintenance. Knowledge of MAC hardware and application software required. Knowledge of MAC/PC platforms and troubleshooting required. Knowledge of Creative/Design workflows preferred. Knowledge of common tools used by creative teams required. Knowledge of Digital Asset Management required. Knowledge of network administration preferred. Knowledge of web sites maintenance required. Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage. Must be able to respond to website problems at any given time or day. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone. Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to take the initiative and be self-motivated.
