Job Responsibilities Primary Job Function (summary):

The primary purpose of this position is to execute program scheduling plan for the network and assist with all aspects of planning and scheduling.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assist in long-term planning and strategizing of programming.
- Assist Director of Program Planning & Scheduling in developing programming stunts.
- Create shows and enter in all program rights and status information into SIMS including closed caption status, international distribution rights, parental rating, license period.
- Manage program schedule in SIMS inclusive of entering monthly schedule and overseeing schedule changes.
- Work with Legal to ensure that rights for programs are clear for all forms of distribution including: VOD, licensing/footage requests.
- Maintain closed captioned schedules and oversee on-line and off-line captioning of all shows.
- Manage Versus HD schedule in conjunction with Golf HD Channel.
- Manage conditions and guidelines for live events and same day programming.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements: Job-related Education/Skills/Experience

- 3-5 years television experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer and database skills essential; proficient with MS Office.
- Detail-oriented and deadline driven; ability to multi-task.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
