Manager, Rights Administration- Acquisitions & New Media

Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Inc. seeks a Manager, Rights Administration- Acquisitions and New Media for the International Television Distribution- Rights Administration department. Position will manage acquisitions, new media and new product types. Oversee daily queries from field offices, internal departments/divisions as well as delegate and manage special research and analysis projects with department’s Director and Vice President. Manage rights, clearances and availabilities for current & future acquisitions. This includes developing new procedures to continually increase efficiency in workflow of large library of programming; address operational issues that directly affect sales and bring them to the attention of Sr. Management. Oversee various monthly reports of acquisition activity. Coordinate with internal departments and third party entities to resolve rights, clearance and holdback issues. Oversee the administration and ITD system input of international television rights for new and library acquisition titles, product details (e.g., title, product number, premiere dates, product length, format, synopsis, release dates, production company, etc.), clearances, availabilities and holdbacks. Manage the current process for tracking cleared to download theatrical product in ITD and the updating of the television series/episode list as well as direct future enhancements to the system to handle cleared to download television product. Anticipate departmental needs to incorporate new media and product types.RequirementsB.A. degree required. Mainframe experience preferred. Must have intermediate MS Word and Excel proficiency. Access skills preferred. 2 – 5 years years of rights administration and/or contract experience required. 1 – 2 television distribution experience required. 1 year of managing and/or supervising staff. 1 – 3 years experience in system enhancements. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to work under tight deadlines. Must be detail oriented. Strong analytical skills. Strong project management skills. Must be able to work with all levels of management.
