Manager, iVillage and NBCU Digital Ad Sales Finance and Bill

CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):This manager will define core ad sales financial processes for the revenue cycle - particularly invoicing. One of the first deliverables will be definition of a standard process across what are currently disparate teams on the back end. This individual will manage 2 revenue coordinators (one at each business).Own all aspects of iVillage and NBCU digital Media display advertising billing processo Work closely with the account management team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing o Supervise Billing analysts / coordinatorsOwn credit / invoice adjustment process o Research billing inquires and perform invoice adjustmentso Create new credit adjustment process Partner with sales team to identify and implement process improvements o Drive for more automation / simplification of processo Identify the issues, reduce cycle time and drive down the need for and amount of reworkDrive process improvements within newly rolled out integrated sales system - Operative / Dashboard o Work closely with Operative IT team to come up with enhancements / reports/ functionality that will help automate and improve billing processPartner with all stakeholders to design and meet reporting needsWork closely with revenue finance team to define close and estimate processesWork closely with collections team to help drive improved DSO's (this group is not responsible for collections - but needs to work closely with our collections team to drive front-end improvements)Perform quarterly account reconciliationsPerform ad-hoc sales analysesQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance and AccountingExperience with digital media, revenue accounting (invoicing, collections, etc) Bachelors Degree requiredAdvance excel skillsEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 811617).
