Responsibilities:

Genius Products has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Revenue Reporting to join the Finance team.  The Manager of Revenue Reporting position at Genius Products is primarily responsible for assisting the development and maintenance of all  Financial Revenue Sharing Reporting for all Genius LLC products including Canada revenue, Digital, licensing and Games.  Ensuring that reporting is accurate and timely and presented in a “management friendly” format. 

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

· Manage all aspects of the Revenue Sharing side of the business.  Must have the ability to understand complex agreements and be able to see the financial impact of such agreements to the Rev Share side of the business.

· Coordinate and establish relationship with customers, have the ability to understand customer statements and calculate overage amounts per client.

· Perform Gross to Net Calculation on a by title basis and have the understanding on how to tie the figures to the General Ledger.

· Support Senior Sales Management with all Rev Share reporting requirements.

· Compile, audit and administer daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Rev Share Reports.

· Act as the go to person for Rev Share Analysis, must be able to collaborate data from various systems and spreadsheets while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

· Create, analyze, and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for senior management. 

· Create Ad Hoc Financial reports as needed, relating to revenue and sales.

· Provide suggestions and feedback on improvement of current processes and procedures to improve department efficiency.

· Active participation in the migration from Great Plains to SAP. 

 

Qualifications:

The successful individual MUST have complete knowledge of Microsoft Office XP/Office 2007, with advanced knowledge in Word and Excel required.

Specific qualifications include:Detail oriented and ability to multi-task a MUST.Must possess time management skills and be able to meet deadlines.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.Knowledge of Great Plains a must.  SAP experience helpful.Ability to multi-task and problem solve while maintaining extreme attention to detail.Capability to take direction and be flexible while working both independently and with others.Excellent judgment.  The ability to prioritize multiple tasks as they are presented.  The ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment and refocus as the job and situations demand.  The ability to work within a team and establish strong working relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

 

Five to eight years of revenue share or related work experience in consumer packaged goods or entertainment field is required.  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.  Home video industry is preferred.  Previous experience working in packaged goods environment is a plus.
