CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Act as the Marketing lead on cross-platform/ enterprise accounts working with multiple dayparts/properties to create effective integrated Marketing programs for clientsAct as EMS lead on specific daypart(s)/properties and foster positive and effective working relationship with Ad Sales/Marketing colleagues and senior management within assigned daypart(s)-ensuring open lines of communication and the ability to provide actionable solutions for daypart challenges Collaborate with the Research Insights and Innovation teams to continuously identify and evaluate key marketplace trends, advanced advertiser solutions and new metrics to drive revenue Both lead and participate in ideation or brainstorming sessions, to develop high-impact, organic sponsorship and partnership platforms that align with customers' brand objectives and attend the client pitch when appropriateOversee the activities related to NBCU's sponsorship of specific trade conferencesManage the development of all sales collateral around cross company marketing initiativesHire, manage, evaluate and nurture marketing staffQualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of related experienceBachelor's degreeEligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 815334). Willingness to travel (Add % of time if appropriate) and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.Must be willing to work at the station in New York, NY.Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.Must be 18 years or older.Must have a valid driver's license.Desired:College degree, preferably with a discipline in marketing; MBA preferredProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointStrong strategic marketing orientationAbility to translate advertiser needs into "sellable" programs that generate revenueAptitude to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsProven ability to project manage successfully, meeting timelines and staying within budget parametersTrack record in comprehensive marketing campaigns & successful promotional partnershipsProven ability to partner effectively with a Sales organization, senior management and external parties Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detailStrong knowledge of how to monetize on-air opportunities; experience with digital media a plus Strong ability to anticipate and accommodate needs, requests and issuesSuperior written and verbal communication.
