Master Control Operator - Temporary

C-SPAN is seeking one full-time, temporary Master Control Operator. Responsibilities include: keying graphics for live and taped programs, switching complicated on-air transitions involving live audio and video, multiple taped elements, stills and graphics. Looking for proactive, experienced technicians with the ability to trouble shoot problems and find solutions instantly. Should be a self-starter, detailed oriented, able to react well under pressure and interested in politics and public affairs. Candidates should be team players with excellent communications skills. Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access and scripting a plus. Shift includes every other weekend off. EOE
