Media Services Technician

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain Media Center's hardware and software needs. Create streaming media for website. Maintain daily Media Ministry needs. Create and maintain Media library. Perform post production tasks for broadcasts and in-house video presentations. Work with Producer on special projects as needed. Capture Sunday's sermon and broadcast for media streaming website. Capture special events and reformat for audio and visual media.

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to Media Communications Director.

 

Spiritual DevelopmentSupport and model individual spiritual formation i.e. Worship, Grow and Serve. (weekly worship, prayer, scripture reading, small group, volunteering, etc.).

Volunteers Work alongside volunteers during Sunday morning production and taping sessions. Work toward scheduling volunteers for Media Center's weekly broadcasts.

ProductionWork with and support Christ Church ministry staff on needs of special video presentations. Work directly with Media Producer on projects as requested.   Attend meetings and production sessions as requested by Media Producer.

CommunicationWritten and verbal communication skills are important in Work with the Treasurer of the Media Ministry to analyze giving patterns and potential. Write updates as required to Christ Church staff and outside partners on production projects.

Skills Demonstrated proficiency in video production, including: Audio, Lighting, VideographyDemonstrated proficiency in online editing and digital output, including: Final Cut Pro Studio, LogicPro or other digital audio software, Apple video workflow solutions, AutoDesk CleanerKnowledge of audio and video equipment support

 Education/Experience:High School diploma required, college preferred  Experience in television and media communication.
