Mobile Video Producer

Rhythm NewMedia, a growing start-up in the mobile space based in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Mobile Video Producer.

The Mobile Video Producer will be responsible for the day-to-day creation, enhancement and maintenance of the Rhythm NewMedia mobile video offerings. He/She will work closely with the content schedulers, business development and other cross-functional departments to create an optimal user experience.

This position is ideal for a hands-on individual who has the pulse on what content works to drive usage. The ideal candidate should be very familiar with pop culture and be able to find the latest and greatest videos from user generated content to the best premium licensed content.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day to day development of the Rhythm NewMedia’s mobile video properties
• Responsible for weekly editorial calendar for multiple Rhythm video offerings
• Monitors content and tracks progress of production
• Source user generated content
• Assist in programming using Rhythm’s content management system
• Responsible for look and feel of Rhythm offering
• Converting and editing text and graphical materials provided by content providers
• Determine appropriate content providers and make recommendations to the Content Acquisition Team
• Assist in contacting content providers and forming partnerships
• Incorporating usability best practices into the mobile video offering
• Exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional team members, some of whom may be international
