Job description: Candidates must display excellent radio news anchoring and reporting skills in a "breaking news" environment of a large-market all-news operation. Good writing skills and the ability to condense complex news stories into brief, concise packages a must. Advanced audio production skills a plus. Three years in a broadcast newsroom and street reporting experience required; radio news experience preferred. Tape, CD or MP3 samples of reporting and news anchoring work should accompany resumes. Candidates must be available to work weekends, nights and overnights. AFTRA position.
