Job description: Rare opportunity for a great communicator. Be the full-time host of one of America’s first Love Songs shows, an integral part of this AC station’s 30 year ratings success story. This full-time position;  Monday – Fridays 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. requires compelling and frequent telephone interaction with your listeners, tech savvy, “edit-on-the-fly” digital studio skills, the sensibilities and compassion to embrace relationship radio. We are looking for on-air staff to compliment our radio station.  Responsibilities include the performance of live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative; monitoring the music and commercial logs for the airshift; ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly; operating the control board; production work; personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.   Requirements: The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, very creative and have solid production skills with a strong working knowledge of audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital system “Audio Vault.”  They must possess knowledge of the format and the audience.  Phone skills, good on-air voice and strong track record a must.   Demo/Air check must accompany resume to be considered for position.  In addition to submitting your resume online by selecting "Apply Now", please send demo/air check to: Jodi.burns@cbsradio.com .
