Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Producer for the WB Interactive Entertainment department (WBIE).
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing multiple licensed videogame products in development and managing the Licensee and any necessary Third-Party Relationships (e.g. DC Comics, Global Brand Management, and external IP Stakeholders).
· Work on both high-profile day-and-date Theatrical releases as well as catalogue properties. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day submission and approval process with Warner Bros. Licensees and external stakeholders, and ensuring that the approved submissions maintain a high standard of brand quality.
· Work with Talent and Rights/Clearances to identify any legal and rights/clearances issues and support Marketing and PR as needed.
· Responsible for all brand assurance on their products and will research and establish brand guidelines, identify and disseminate assets and otherwise develop an expertise in the brand(s) assigned. This brand expertise is central to the successful ongoing licensing operation of these products and to maintaining the high entertainment standards that adhere to the brand integrity of all Warner Bros. products.
· Overall production responsibility for multiple licensed videogame products to assure an on-time and on-brand delivery adhering to Warner Bros. standards and brand approval requirements.
· Manage Licensee relationship and the day-to-day submission process for current and next gen videogame consoles. Review, comment and approve Licensor milestones (brand adherence, scripts, talent, etc.) from game concept to completion. Keep up-to-date on competitive titles. Support Marketing and PR as needed.
· Manage third party stakeholders, including meetings, updates and approvals with external stakeholders (e.g. filmmakers, DC Comics and other stakeholders).
· Assure that submissions are delivered/presented in a professional manner and responded to in a timely way, and that third party concerns are properly addressed.
· Research, establish and distribute brand guidelines. Research and provide brand reference materials (brand bibles, character art, animation cycles, pre-approved VO talent, casting, music, etc.) to Licensee.
· Provide third party writer/artist recommendations. With Intn’l Dubbing and Intn’l Tech Opps, provide VO casting and localization charts and localized assets.
· Work with Legal and Talent and Rights/Clearances to identify and research all rights/clearances and Third Party Approvals (talent, VO, IP holders, music, etc).
· Participate in weekly Production Meeting. Update the weekly Production Schedule and Senior Staff Reports, and other documentation as needed.
· Interface with other WBIE division heads and staff, including Business Development, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Licensing, Talent and Rights/Clearances, etc. as needed, as well as other WB divisions (Global Brand Management, Home Video, WBCP, etc.)
· Reviews and approves Licensor Developer choice on high-profile titles only.
· Supports Director of Production and other staff as assigned.
Work Experience
· Previous Producer or Associate Producer experience with game developer/publisher required.
· 3+ years experience in PC or console game production; experience in working on licenses preferred; experience in MMO development a plus.
· A strong background and understanding of multi-platform video game production preferred.
· Entertainment industry experience a plus.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
· College degree or equivalent preferred.
· Game design/production training a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Online/internet skills. Knowledge of MS Project a plus.
· Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
· Previous experience in producing interactive products required
· Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
· Understanding of Brand development preferred
· Established communication, people, presentation and organizational skills
· Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track without supervision

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), a division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, is a premier publisher, licensor and developer of entertainment content for the interactive space across all current and future platforms, including console, handheld and PC-based gaming. Leveraging the distribution, marketing and sales infrastructure within Warner Home Video, WBIE is a significant worldwide publisher for both internal and third party game titles.
· In North America, WBIE published (including oversight of production, marketing and distribution) Looney Tunes: ACME Arsenal for the Xbox 360, Wii and PS2 and Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck for the NDS in October. The games launched in Europe at the end of November and will launch in Australia in February.
· WBIE has expanded its publishing capabilities in Europe an Australia with the Looney Tunes games as the first launch titles.
· WBIE published (overseeing production and marketing) 300: March To Glory for the PSP in March 2007.
· Along with Warner Bros. investing in SCi/Eidos, WBIE entered into an extensive licensing and distribution agreement for select properties.
· As part of a distribution deal with Codemasters, WBIE is distributing Codemasters’ product slate in North America.
· WBIE handles the distribution for Brash videogame titles worldwide, as well as licensing select properties to Brash.
· WBIE distributed Empire Interactive’s FlatOut Ultimate Carnage in North America Carnage on the Xbox 360 in October 2007.
· WBIE will publish LEGO Batman: The Videogame and Project Origin, the sequel to F.E.A.R. in 2008.
· WBIE will publish Speed Racer: The Videogame for the Wii along with the film NDS in May 2008 and the PS2 along with the DVD in Fall 2008.
