Product Manager, Syndication & Distribution

CITY: Englewood Cliffs STATE: New JerseyCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):NBC Weather Plus is searching for a Product Manager experienced with online product development to oversee a number of content and product syndication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing detailed functional documentation, experience developing efficient wireframes and workflows, and a proven record of launching successful online products and features.Responsibilities:Grow and develop new and existing products and initiatives.Generate new ideas by tracking evolving market trends, technology trends, and competitive offerings. Work closely with technology leadership to determine best practice development techniques. Identify and evaluate potential technology vendors.Discover, gather, and articulate product requirements to all stakeholders.Prepare product development plans and cost estimates that deliver streamlined products. Hold frequent communication with business teams to ensure accurate requirements and expectations.Manage day-to-day product functionality, bug reports, and enhancement requests.Meet aggressive performance and scalability goals to address explosive user growth and emergence of new technologies.Qualifications/Requirements:3+ years as a Product Manager at an internet-based software company.Bachelor's degree required.Eligibility Requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered (note job#: 782485). Knowledge of customer-focused design and usability principles.Strong organizational skills.Highly analytical and detail oriented.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Ability to be a strong team player excited about working in weather.Strong technical background a plus.
