Production Accountant - Media

DC based media company needs enthusiastic, outgoing accountant to handle production accounting. Duties include light Journal Entries and database work, working w/ Production Mgrs on budget v. actual on costs and assisting corporate parent on Month End Close information. Manage database cost accounting, accounts payable and payroll informationOther duties include some administrative handling of papers, files, etc.. A persistent individual with stellar customer service attitude will be necessary in the role to work in harmony with creative types. Fantastic and exciting work environment.Requires a minimum of 2 year Associates degree in Accounting or 4 year degree in business with 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Database design/mgmt, extremely strong organization skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and identify problem issues and propose solutions.System knowledge of Peoplesoft, VISTA, Filemaker, Access or other ERP and database packages is required.
