Programmer Analyst

 

Job Overview: 

The Programmer Analyst is an integral member of a team of developers that will enhance and support business procedures and applications. 

 

Responsibilities:Works with end users, management and support staff to identify areas where new applications will solve business problems.Develops business applications.Documents new applications as needed to deploy application to the user community.Identifies and minimize risks to implementing new applications.Works with other IT staff to solve business problems as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field, preferred.

· Two to five years related experience and/or training

· Must have AS400 Experience.

· Experience with Linux and/or Unix

· Experience with an Object Oriented Programming language

· Experience with Maven, Ant, Eclipse, JDBC and Tomcat (or other Servlet/Application server experience)

· Experience with RPG Programming Language.

· Working knowledge of WRQ VIB and VHI, SQL, COM, Windows services, ASP, MS Axapta or Dynamics AX, Ecometry, High Jump, PeopleSoft

· Working knowledge of Java, C#, Perl, JSP, HTML, and/or SOAP languages

· Working knowledge of IIS, Apache, and Oracle 8i and above

· Working knowledge of CVS, Hibernate, Spring Subversion or Visual Source Safe.

· Familiar with JDA’s, AWR or E3

· General working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems, and general office automation tools like Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
