Project Coordinator

The Salem Web Network is looking to add a technical project coordinator to its web development team. The Project Coordinator will coordinate a variety of simultaneous projects, ranging from the implementation of new functionality to the management of the full SDLC of web applications for handling multiple web sites.

 

The candidate will create project artifacts such as project schedules, requirements matrixes and communication plans and coordinate the transfer of information, requests & updates, between clients and our internal technical team.  The project coordinator is responsible for reporting project scope, timeframe, budget, delivery date, and client expectations of assigned projects to the Director of Web Development for action.

 

Candidates must have experience in project management and/or have a relevant technology background, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, providing high levels of accuracy in creating documentation, recording project requests & revisions, while possessing a “can-do” approach to problem solving. A solid understanding of technologies used in Web site development -- including web programming, web hosting, video streaming, networking, and database systems -- is preferred, as is some form of project management certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project are required.Salem Web Network, SWN, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Salem Communications Corporation.
