Education:

College degree in related field preferred.

 

Skills:

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem solving abilities; detail oriented; ability to identify, hire, train and manage people in the promotions department; strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills essential; ability to create, execute and maximize the impact of promotional opportunities; computer proficiency.

 

Experience:

Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing or promotions.

 

Duties:

Plan and execute promotions; supervise station contests to ensure that all contests are conducted in accordance with FCC regulations; represent stations at community events and promotions; oversee the promotion department, including administration, image, contests, appearances, special events, sales promotions;  coordinate activities for other departments involved in production of promotions and remotes;
