SQL Developer

Location: New York, NY 10001 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Reference Code: NYJ99809 The candidate must have the following core competencies:·4+ years experience in systems analysis and software development·Strong verbal and written communication skills.·Ability to produce clear and concise documentation of deliverables.·4+ Years of SQL Server development experience·Experience with Transact-SQL (advanced queries, complex joins, indexes) ·Experience with ETLs (DTS or SSIS).·Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas·Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. ·Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. ·Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.·Implement software application enhancement requests·Document deliverables from each of the bullet items above.·Experience with XML·Ability to write, debug and unit test stored procedures and triggers ·Ability to optimize stored procedures written by others·Experience with high volume, high-availability applications.·Experience with Oracle applications.·Knowledge of/experience with the Callidus software product (TrueComp) desired.·Knowledge of/experience with Informatica desired.·Perl knowledge/experience a plus.
